We are one of the few Dartmouth accommodation providers with our own ample free car parking for all rooms, within the grounds.Offload your luggage by the door and relax!

When you explore the town centre, be a green tourist! Leave your car at Yorke House and take the 15 minute walk down the 12th century route (maps provided). There is also a regular local bus service or take a taxi. Taxi fares are under £4 per journey from town centre.

Beware! Parking can be a nightmare in central Dartmouth. Don't be fooled by the offer of parking permits. These are non allocated  limited space in the central public car park. This car park is usually full in summer and can be a considerable distance from your accommodation. At Yorke House we guarantee you a space.

If you need it, town centre parking in the evening is usually much easier. The 2 hour restricted embankment parking is 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Day visitors have normally left these spaces and they are available for you to use and enjoy a drink and a meal. Alternatively take a short country drive to the many village restaurants and pubs. Enjoy the scenic views over the sea at Blackpool sands and the amazing vista of the coast road to Slapton Sands.
